A loan helped fund a black-owned boutique that serves affordable accessories and size inclusive clothing for all.

Donielle's story

I have always grown up in an environment where women who looked like me were underrepresented. I am both black and plus-sized- two demographics that rarely are represented in mainstream media and beauty. For me, it seemed that who I was as a woman was undesirable, but from this pain I found purpose. Being denied trendier fashion items simply because of my size was something I never wanted to feel again. This sparked my dream of owning a space that provided beauty and clothing items for full-figured women.

I aim to make all women feel seen and represented in the beauty and fashion space, at an affordable cost. I don't believe those nice things have to break the bank. I take immense care in hand-selecting the items we sell and making sure that the quality is of the highest standard.
