A loan helped to purchase spare parts for motorcycles, engine parts, and oil at wholesale to continue providing service.

Jennifer Zenaida's story

Jennifer is 34 years old. She has three children ages 19, 16 and 5 years old who are her strength and motivation to get ahead. She lives with her partner who provides services as a mechanic. She also helps him.

Jennifer considers herself a hard-working, cheerful and responsible woman. She has had a business selling Venezuelan chicha (a traditional Andean beverage made from corn) for four years and she helps her partner provide mechanics service. That is why her biggest challenge is to grow all day long selling her product.

Jennifer's dream is to have her own shop to serve more customers. Aside from this business, she has no other source of income.

Jennifer will use her Kiva loan to purchase spare parts for motorcycles, engine parts, and oil at wholesale to continue providing service. With the additional profit, she will reinvest in her business.
