A loan helped purchase new upgrades for my food trailer and a vehicle to move to different locations in the city.

Patricia's story

My family consists of my husband, myself, and 2 children who are now married. We came to this country from Mexico City 16 years ago. Mexico City, being one of the largest cities in the world, has a wide variety of food. This food is something we loved so much and my husband and I wanted to share it with everyone here in Central Arkansas. We enjoy making this type of food and we feel satisfied when someone says that they like the food that we get to make from scratch. We had always dreamed of having a business here in the United States, something we believed was impossible, but thanks to God and to many people who have encouraged us, we are achieving it. We bought a food trailer two years ago and we were a bit affected by the pandemic but despite everything we have grown gradually.

As a family, we have the confidence to move forward and we are certain that we will succeed. We also appreciate the support of all the institutions that support small businesses in the Latino community by providing professional advice and courses covering various topics, especially knowing the correct way of running a business is very important.

This loan is special because:

It will help this entrepreneur upgrade equipment and expand their business.
