A loan helped us purchase equipment and get our small business off to a great start.

Daniel's story

My name is Daniel Cooper, and I am one of the owner-operators of D&D’s Thru it all Grill LLC; the other owner is not just my partner at D&D’s, but she is also my wife of 33 years, Dawn Cooper. We have always had a dream of owning and operating our own mobile food vendor business. Growing up, I would always be in the kitchen watching my mom and grandmother cook. As I got older, I became a master in the kitchen. I love creating great food that's good for the soul. This is my passion, it's what I love to do. Now my wife is a wiz at keeping things organized and in order. She is a hard worker and getting things done is what motivates her. She is a stickler for cleanliness, accuracy, being on time, and doing what we said we would do. These are the things that drive us and keep us focused. Though we have been through hard times to get to this point, hence the name Thru it all Grill, we have held on to the dream.

So, after years of working hard and saving, we were able to fund most of our business, but now we are actually knocking on the door. It seemed we would never make it this far but yet thru it all we have learned to trust in God and because of this here we are on the cusp of a long-awaited dream.

By reaching our goal we would in turn use the raised funds to purchase much-needed equipment as well as grow our brand through marketing. We plan on opening and operating the business around August of 2022, that's when the trailer build will be complete.

This loan is special because:

It will help this entrepreneur upgrade equipment and expand their business.
