A loan helped to buy more beans, corn, potatoes, tomatoes, carrots, cabbages and other local vegetables to sell back to the community.

Isabel's story

This is Isabel, a talented and enterprising 22-year-old women who possesses a strong desire to get ahead (those with blurred faces are other vendors). She has a good understanding of and experience with her own business selling local vegetables, which she has been doing for many years now. Running the business has made Isabel become more independent because she can be responsible for herself and her family's every day needs. She would like a loan of $1000 through KIF to help improve her business. She plans to use this loan to buy more beans, corn, potatoes, tomatoes, carrots, cabbages and other local vegetables to sell back to the community and generate income for her family. Isabel hopes to expand the size of her business in the future as a result of the investment and wants to thank lenders for the opportunity.
