06_Ndiang Bambodj Mousdalipha Group's story

This group is composed of ten women sharing strong ties of solidarity and mutual aid. They live in the same neighborhood and jumped at the chance to join the 'banc villageois' when it was set up in town in December 2010. Their main work is in small-scale commerce.

Ms. Aminata (standing at the far right in the photo with a hand raised) is the group's representative. She is 65, married, and the mother of five children, including a son. Her small-scale business involves breakfasts. She enjoys experience in this business for having done it for several years.

With this new loan, she intends to purchase eggs, onions, pasta, potatoes, and condiments for cooking her dishes to sell to her customer base.

With the earnings, she plans to develop her business, bolster her savings, and meet her needs and those of her children.

In this group: Aminata, Diatou, Fatou, Mané, Ndeye, Khoudia, Allassane, Sokhna, Khadidiatou, Anta Mbaye
