A loan helped veteran and disabled woman owned business expand and grow.

Leslie's story

I was attending college courses in 2011 when a friend approached me about curb number painting and how it was a quick and honest way to make money while helping the community. I was living on student loans so I jumped at the chance. This was the beginning of my endeavor to pursue a lifelong dream of owning my own business. I am currently on a limited Social Security monthly allotment. I love the outdoors, nature, and helping people. I have ten years of experience and become extremely adept in the variety of artistic and basic applications of this field. I enjoy hard work and thrive to be a productive member of my community. I work in a male-dominated field and welcome competition.

I am pursuing my dream of financial independence, physical fitness, and a purpose in life since my children are grown. I take pride in my work, accomplishing goals, and helping others, and these are the ingredients for spiritual growth in my life.
