A loan helped a member to buy peanut seeds and fertilizer.

05-Bock Diom Group's story

This group of women has been in existence since April 2019. They live in the same town and keep up very strong ties of kinship and solidarity. Their main work is in farming.

Due to COVID-19, the group's representative, HAWA, appears by herself in the photo. She is 54, married, and the mother of seven children, including three daughters. She is active in farming.

With this loan, she intends to purchase peanuts seeds and fertilizer for planting. After the harvest, she is going to sell her produce at the local market at good prices with the hope of getting better revenues.

With the profits, she envisions bolstering her savings and helping her husband to provide for family needs (food, healthcare, and schooling for the children).

In this group: Maguette, Hawa, Diama, Mariama, Aminata, Amy, Die, Dado, Khordia, Amy, Fatou, Diarra
