Karina Del Carmen's story

Karina Del Carmen, age 37, is a small businesswoman who lives in the city of Cartagena. She is an example of dedication and effort. She has had a business of selling miscellaneous products for ten years. The business was born as a family tradition and out of the need to generate earnings to support her family and for her to be the owner of her own undertaking.

At her business she sells paper goods and provides services such as printouts, transcriptions, internet, calls, recharges, and snacks. Her main customers are friends, neighbors, and people referred to her.

She is currently requesting her first Kiva loan with the Fundación Santo Domingo in order to buy paper goods, notebooks, gift bags, pencils, markers, paints, fabric, and other products. Karina Del Carmen will use an injection of capital to strengthen her business. This will increase her profits, and she will improve her family's quality of life.

Please help her with her loan; it will be a success.
