Abateganya Cb Group's story

Egidia is a 45-year-old mother of seven children who are aged between 5 and 25 years old. Her husband is a farmer, and for the past 15 years, she has been selling cheese.

She is the leader of the group called Abateganya CB, which in English means “People who save.” Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Egidia will use her loan to buy more milk to use in the making of cheese to sell in her community and to meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to be able to provide for the family and also furnish her house.
