We provide Language Classes for Companies and Individuals, Government agencies, and institutions. I started doing this around 1996 while still in the Dominican Republic. I and a team of educators would support all kinds of businesses and enterprises with their language learning needs. We have worked with hospitals, schools, banks, retail stores, management companies, and more, allowing them to break the communication barrier across languages and people. We now operate from home and our job is done online. I have been in the business for over 30 years, but now we are finally and formally establishing it in America. The Inter-American Language Academy will be supporting teachers, patients that need translations, and offices that need support. Our plan is to have a long-term impact in facilitating communication across languages by providing services needed in our community.

We offer some Lending Partners the option to protect themselves against currency fluctuations by choosing to pass on these losses to Kiva lenders. By bearing this risk, lenders protect the partner and its borrowers from catastrophic currency devaluations and contribute to the sustainability of their operations.
Potential for currency exchange loss is noted on every loan profile under the loan details:
"Yes" means the Lending Partner will cover any currency loss. Lenders will not bear losses due to currency fluctuation
"Partial" means that the Lending Partner has opted to cover losses only up to 10%. If the U.S. dollar appreciates more than 10% against the local currency, those losses will be passed onto lenders.
"No" means that the Lending Partner is not covering any currency losses and all losses will be passed onto lenders.
