Connie's story

As a single mom of 3, I wanted to provide a stable environment for my family. One in which I could earn, remain happy and supportive of my kids, and be able to do it on our own time. Our art and retail business allowed me to utilize my creativity, and teach my kids that they could also earn and run a business using their talents and creativity. Having four separate autoimmune disorders made it difficult to maintain a typical job. Selling our art as a family, however, brought us a more sustainable income and true joy.

When COVID hit hard, we lost our ability to travel and do shows. I noticed a sort of depression settle over our family. Not only from the loss of income, but from our loss of collective purpose as well. My kids are older now and we feel the best way to restore what we once had, would be to find a permanent location for our sales.

We have decided we want to lift other single parent-artist families as well and showcase the art of many. We’ve had so much love and support over the years, we want to share it and build others. My oldest is 18, and my other two teenagers have known how to run the business since they were tiny. This is a leap we are more than prepared to make and we are ready to go into it with all our hearts, creative forces, and ambition.

We are a family of mixed races, and genders, and we are part of the LGBTQA+ family. We fully believe that kindness, love, and acceptance are key to growing any business. One of our family mottos is: that you can achieve anything you want if you help others get what they need.
