Anna's story

I am a self taught woman who discovered a passion for curating vintage beads. I quickly learned there wasn't many businesses who sell vintage beads let alone in the upper midwest. I started my business from my home in 2011, and in 2020, I took a leap of faith to sell my house. I took the plunge to open my very first retail location in December 2020. Within the first year, I quickly outgrew the space and moved into a larger location. Amongst the move, I also launched my business website. Little did I know I would receive a call to buy out another business in California that same week. It's April 2022, and who knew a $20 bead purchase at a flea market in 2011 would lead to me owning 2 bead stores.

I truly love finding hidden treasures and learning the history of these remarkable finds. I now get to share my vintage beads with the world, being one of the few bead stores that ships worldwide. Plus, with the new bead store, I am now one of the leading bead stores in the nation with one of the largest vintage glass cabochon collections. I love being a hidden gem coming into the light to show the world this exquisite collection. I couldn't have picked a better location to call home for my business. The love and support from the community has been truly amazing!
