Yadira, age 30, is Afro-Ecuadorian. She lives with her parents and young child, age 4 years, in the province of Carchi, Mira canton. The principal economic activity there is agriculture.

Yadira works growing vegetables and short-cycle legumes. This work has permitted her to obtain income to support her household. Yadira has planted beans and corn. The climate is changing and crops require more meticulous care.

Therefore she is requesting a loan to buy compost and organic fertilizers for the growing cycle. Yadira is very grateful for the help provided to her. In this way, she is certain that she will improve her income and her living conditions.
