A loan helped to buy seedlings and farming supplies to establish 0.7 hectares of coffee, as well as pay for labor.

Edwin Manuel's story

Edwin is a 45-year-old coffee grower who lives in the north-central region of Nicaragua. He manages a small coffee farm that measures 3.88 hectares, of which 1.7 hectares contain two-year-old coffee plants that are not ready to be harvested.

His challenge this year is that he needs funds to buy seedlings and pay for labor and necessary supplies to establish an additional 0.7 hectares of coffee, which will assure greater production. This will also improve his family’s standard of living.

This is the third loan Edwin has received from PAC.
