Alvaro's story

Alvaro is a knowledgeable agriculturist from Bugalagrande, Valle del Cauca, with more than 35 years of experience in the business. He currently owns more than 4,500 coffee plants, which he diversifies with 30 plantain and 20 banana trees distributed on almost five hectares of land. Alvaro has been progressively expanding his harvest for the past two years, hoping to achieve a more sustainable harvesting process within his terrain.

Alvaro lives alone in a house he inherited from his mother more than 20 years ago.
