Zoila (the first person located in the photo from right to left) is a very hardworking mother. She is 55 years old, married, and has a lovely family with whom she lives in a community of San Andrés Semetabaj.
Zoila is very grateful to ADICLA and Kiva for the opportunity to have gotten a loan which allowed her to be able to invest in her crops. It went very well for her, since her income improved as did her family's quality of life.
Zoila, as representative of the group and with the desire to continue progressing with her groupmates, asks for another loan. She will invest it in the purchase of agricultural supplies (fertilizers, insecticides and fungicides) and a part is to pay the lease on the land.
She and her group trust that they will be able to again have this financing, given that, as a group, it gives them the opportunity to continue growing economically with their families. Zoila hopes to be able to improve her children's quality of life in the future and to increase her crops.
