A loan helped to buy mulberry for her tapa making business.

Seini's story

This is Seini. She is a single mother of two who runs a tapa-making business in order to provide for them. They live in their own little house, and Seini has been their only provider since their childhood.

Once every week, she and a group of women in the village get together and make tapas. Seini also has skills in designing tapas, and some women hire her to design their tapas for them. This is an extra cash in-flow for her family.

She may be a single mother, but Seini fulfills both a mother and a father's responsibility towards her children. Her business was slow due to the January disaster, and the price of mulberry increased in the market.

Seini will use this loan to solve her problem and buy efficient mulberry for her tapa-making business.

This loan is special because:

It provides women with credit in a country where alternative financing is extremely scarce.
