Takella's story

Being a single parent inspired me to start a home-based daycare. I have always struggled to find care, as a working parent. My startup was in 2019. My first parents and children were from the Birmingham Area. They knew nothing about me but decided to give me a chance. Thank God they did. Later on, more parents came to trust me with their children. I decided to get state certified and continue my education for my business. Everything has been great so far, I am doing what I love. I have provided care for parents and essential workers through the Covid-19 pandemic.

I opened my home to assure parents of a safe and educational environment for their children. I left my manufacturing job 5 yrs ago to invest in my dream, of caring for children. My goal is to give Parents a sense of relief knowing their children are in good hands. I have dreamed of starting my business, and now I am finally here. And hopefully, I can gain the support I need properly.
