06_Gpf Mbene Sagatta Group's story

This group has 10 members. They are women who share strong ties of solidarity and mutual aid. They live in the same village, and they took the opportunity to join a women's group when it was established in January of 2021. The women work mainly in livestock production and retail trade.

Madame Mbene, (seen standing on the far right with her hand raised), is the group's representative. She is 38 years old, married, and is the mother of 3 children, including a girl. She works raising livestock. She has several years of experience in this line of work.

With this new loan, Madame Mbene plans to buy sheep and animal feed to fatten them for several months. After that, she will sell them. With the profits, she plans to expand her business activities and provide for her needs and the needs of her children.
