Juan is a coffee grower who lives in a community in the north of Nicaragua with his three children. His farm is 7.04 hectares in size, with 2.11 hectare of coffee that is producing now, and is managed under the criteria for CAFE practices and Fair Trade certification,
He is requesting a loan to buy agricultural supplies that will help him to improve the nutrition of his coffee trees. His principal challenges up to now have been illnesses that threaten the coffee plants, but he is sure that with the timely application of inputs, and by putting into practice the recommendations of the technical team that supports him, he will be able to get ahead and to have a better harvest this season. He will use the funds to buy supplies such as calcium, zinc, boron, etc.
This is his 12th loan from PAC.
