A loan helped a live-electric urban vehicle (#LUV) company equip other enterprises with cargo bike & trike fleets.

Gregg's story

I first caught the pedaling-for-profit bug in 1986, delivering papers for The Boston Globe by bike. On and off during the 1990s, I earned solid returns as a bike messenger in Manhattan. Early in the new millennium, I discovered Pedi-cabbing, and the growing market demand for transportation, delivery, promotion, etc., via giant trike—which inspired me to start Revolution Rickshaws in 2005. After she answered a Craigslist ad for a delivery position in 2008, I met the woman who was to become Mrs. Revolution; currently, in the Hudson Valley, we’re building and tending our “Hudson Harvest” homestead—free of fossils and full of locally grown & harvested goods.

Now, seventeen years into Revolution’s tenure, a new crop of forward-thinking businesses is demanding both fossil freedom and agile city-mile fulfillment. And we are on a mission to deliver both—by providing access to sturdy, cutting-edge equipment optimized for the rigors and challenges of dense urban centers.

When you lend to Revolution, you energize a generative cycle: you empower us to empower other enterprises, large and small, to create and maintain high-performance logistics systems that revolutionize how goods get to your favorite local storefronts, as well as your home.

This loan is special because:

It will help this entrepreneur upgrade equipment and expand their business.
