De Sion Group's story

Sylvie is a client of the Hekima microfinance institution and is the head of the village group De Sion. She is married, aged 36 and the mother of 4 children who all attend school, Her partner is a doctor.

She sells bread in a bakery and started this business 5 years ago with the startup funding received from her husband. Later she joined the Hekima program to support her business and during this time she evolved progressively.

With this new loan, she will stock up with flour, oil, milk, sugar, juice which will strengthen her original capital.
The challenge of her activity is linked to the lack of customers.

She would like for her children to continue to study and to be able to feed her family. Finally, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they give to business owners who do not have cash in this context of a global crisis linked to covid-19.
