Vuthea's story

Vuthea (age 26) is a married man in Cambodia's Tboung Khmum Province who lives in his own home.

He currently is a construction worker and has an extra job as a rice farmer; his daily earnings are estimated to be around $11 USD.

In his province, which is rich in agriculture, including rice farming, fishing, cashew production, and vegetable production, farmers have achieved large profits.

He plans to use a loan to buy more of livestock for increasing his benefits, when he improves with the first stage of getting out of debt.
