A loan helped a member to purchase secondhand shoes to strengthen her initial capital.

Tusimame Group's story

Mme Aminatha is a client of the MFI Hekima and leader of the groupe villageoise Tusimame. She is married, 22 years old, and the mother of one child who is still a baby. Her partner is a painter.

She sells shoes. She started this business 4 years ago with startup funding she received from her husband. Later, she joined the Hekima program to support her business, and has made gradual progress.

With this new loan, she will purchase secondhand shoes to strengthen her initial capital. The challenge for her business is related to a lack of customers.

She would like to feed her family and expand her business. Lastly, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for their support of non-bankable businesses during the global Covid-19 crisis. The photo is of the group leader only to comply with Covid-19 social distancing restrictions.
