This group is composed of nine women who are united and help each other. They live in the same area and seized the opportunity to join a banc villageois when it was launched in the area in December 2009. They are involved in small business.

Madame Fama, standing at the far right of the photo with her hand raised, is the group representative. She is age 50. She is married and mother to three children, of whom one is a boy. She has a small business serving breakfast. She benefits from a lot of experience, having done this for several years.

With this new loan, she plans to buy eggs, onions, pasta, potatoes and condiments to prepare her dishes and sell them to her customers.

With the profits, she plans to develop her business, build up her savings and meet her needs and those of her children.
