Saleema, with hand raised, lives in the mid-sized city of Vehari, famous for its agriculture, in Pakistan. She owns a small house of two rooms in the area named 561-EB, a few kilometer outside the city, where she lives with her family. She has an embroidery business at home. She learned this art when she was very young from her mother and now makes good profits from it. She and her husband work hard to improve the financial condition of their family. Her husband's name is S. H. and he operates a grocery shop in the market where he sells daily-use items such as cooking oil, rice, and flour
Saleema has applied for a loan from Kiva partner, Asasah, for her husband’s business. With the loan, her husband will buy groceries in bulk for his shop. The bulk items will help him to compete in the market and increase his sales.
