Alba, 22 years old, is the mother of two young children with whom she lives in a borrowed house in the rural community of Monteverde. She grew up in the countryside, where she learned to work at the agricultural tasks which today are the means for supporting her children.
Alba is looking for her first financing. She plants to invest in the purchase of agricultural supplies and in paying day laborers to maintain her potato crop. She has placed a lot of hope in this crop since the price of the product in the market is good and this would benefit her enormously in being able to improve her children's living conditions.
