Carlos's story

Carlos is 37 years old, married and lives in the Manatuto municipality, which is one of the most financially excluded cities in East Timor.

He is a very hardworking man and has run a small carpentry business at his village for many years now. Carlos enjoys running the carpentry because it allows him to be independent and provide a happy and healthy life for his family.

He is requesting a loan of $1,000 to help him buy some more timber and a new carpentry machine so that he could make more furniture. Carlos hopes to use this loan to continue expanding his business and provide a good life for his family.
