A loan helped a member to weed the cacao to have a better-quality product.

Solidarios De San Agustin Group's story

The Solidarios De San Agustin communal bank is in its 10th loan cycle. The group is made up of 6 members. Due to the pandemic, only three representatives of the group, who make up the officers of president, treasurer, and secretary, were able to be in the photo.

Norma, 41 years old, is currently single. She has 8 children, who are her strength and inspiration. She considers herself to be a a responsible, cheerful, and respectful woman.

For 20 years, she has had her business producing cacao, yucca, and plantains. It is for this that her greatest challenge is having more hectares of farmland. Likewise, her greatest dream is to have many hectares of cacao crops.

She will use the Kiva loan to weed the cacao to have a better-quality product and for her customers to be satisfied.

In this group: Victoria, Norma, Reyna Margarita, Yulisa, Rossisai, Maura Caily
