This group is made up of 16 women who share strong relations and live in the same neighborhood. They took the opportunity to join this women's group at the time it was formed in April, 2008. They are involved primarily in trading various products.

Madame Khady, shown in the photo, is the group's representative. She is 54 years old, married, and the mother of 8 children, 2 of whom are girls who are in school. She has been in the. millet porridge business for several years.

With this loan she plans to increase the amount of her supplies, which she will sell at the market in her neighborhood. Her profits will help her take care of daily expenses and also pay for her children's education and health care.
