A loan helped to establish a 1.41 hectare coffee farm.

Favio Alexander's story

Favio is a coffee farmer with more than 10 years of experience who lives in a remote community in the Nueva Segovia area of Nicaragua. He manages his 5.63 hectare farm, of which 4.23 hectares are of coffee. He works under the criteria of fairtrade certification and CAFE Practices.

Each year brings a new challenge to meet. This year requires financing for the purchase of seedlings, to pay for labor and supplies necessary for the renovation of 1.41 hectares of coffee, ensuring greater production, improving the standard of living of his family and to create 15 jobs in their community.

This is his ninth loan from PAC. The previous ones have been repaid in a timely manner.
