A loan helped to buy more rice, oil, vita, biscuits, and candy to sell.

Mamie's story

Mamie is 38 years old, married and lives in Liberia. She is a business woman and has two children. Both of her children are presently attending school while living at home. She attended school up to third grade and runs a business where she sells rice, oil, vita, biscuits, and candy.

She has been selling for the past ten years and has had no problem with her business. She started selling with some financial assistance from her husband.

Mamie requested for a loan to buy more rice, oil, vita, biscuits, and candy to sell, in order to make more profits and be able to take care of her needs. In the future she would like to build a house and help her children.

She says thanks for your support.

This loan is special because:

It serves low-income individuals in rural Liberia where few alternative funding sources exist.
