A loan helped a member purchase of beverages.

Mujeres De Calle ' I Group's story

This committee is made up of 12 women from San Miguel de Tobati who are in their fourth loan cycle. They are very satisfied with the assistance that Fundación Paraguaya has given them. With the working capital they have received the women are increasing their small businesses and also increasing their income to obtain a better quality of life for themselves and their children.

Juana is one of the members of the committee and she sells beverages in a canteen that she runs from her home to help her family. She wants to keep running this business as it provides her with a good income, especially on weekends. However, she has many other actvities to attend to so she would like to get her business going within a short time frame. She is requesting a loan to purchase beverages for her business and also a glass cabinet or a fridge where she can keep them cool.

In this group: Juana, Angelica, Virginia, Castorina, Francisca, Victoria, Gladyz, Maria, Amalia, Carmen, Elida, Liza
