A loan helped to buy a smartphone for her child's online education needs during Covid-19.

Salbiah's story

Good day, lenders! Meet one of KBMI’s clients, Salbiah. She is forty-four years old and married with three daughters. Salbiah and her husband run a sewing business. One child is still in school. The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on their family is the implementation of a school from home that uses an online system. This arrangement has made it difficult for their child to access the course materials and send assignments to the teacher.

She has applied for a loan of 2,000,000 Indonesian rupiahs (IDR) from KBMI at Curug branch to buy a smartphone for her child's online education needs during Covid-19. Her income is not sufficient to buy a smartphone, but she will be able to repay the loan received by using the profits generated from her business.

Salbiah is a very hardworking mother who always strives for the best for her children. She is very grateful for the opportunity and wants to thank all lenders.

Note: The girl in the photo is Salbiah's daughter.
