A loan helped to purchase in linen fabric and thread.

Karen Tatiana's story

Karen Tatiana is a 37-year-old microentrepreneur who lives in the city of Barranquilla with her family. For 9 years, she has had a business of offering services sewing linen and silk clothing, which are distributed in stores in the city. They are exclusive brands in guayabera styles. She dreams of managing to have a store or retail space where she can sell in a very exclusive and sophisticated way and she dreams of continuing in a disciplined way.

It is her only source of income and it has allowed her to enjoy an excellent quality of life with her family. But, due to the COVID-19 pandemic which appeared globally, her work level dropped and her income diminished drastically. For this reason, she asks for her first Kiva loan with Fundación Santo Domingo, with the goal of investing in linen fabric and thread. Support her in her business loan.
