A loan helped to build a pigsty and to buy her first round of piglets for a new production.

Adin's story

Meet Adin! She is a young Panamanian entrepreneur who lives in the rural community of La Cantera. Following her entrepreneurial spirit, in addition to farming, she dedicates herself to raising pigs.

Adin is known for being a proactive leader in her community who supports all causes that contribute to the improvement of the community members.

Today, Adin is requesting a loan to build a pigsty and to buy her first round of piglets from a different breed more commercial in Panama. She has identified this business opportunity because she knows that there is an increasing demand in the region she lives in. With the profits from her sales, she wants to improve her house, where she lives with her husband and three children.

Thank you for supporting women in rural communities that have been historically excluded from basic financial services.

This loan is special because:

It empowers the most vulnerable women in Central America by extending access to financial services.
