A loan helped a member to buy wool wholesale.

Chijimarca Group's story

The community group "Chijimarca" is part of the Los Andes Agency. Its nine members are friends and neighbors; it is managed by a board of directors and Maria is their President. Maria is 31-years-old, has a partner and four children. Currently she has a business selling blankets; she learned the trade several years ago.

Maria needs the credit to increase her working capital for the purchase of wool, which she will buy wholesale from merchants in the city of La Paz; after weaving the blankets, she will sell them at her stand. This way of working allows her to generate resources to support her family economically. Her aspiration is that the business grows. Maria asks you to continue trusting their community group.

Due to the covid-19 pandemic, in the photo only the board of directors appears.

In this group: Celia, Juana, Jhovana Marisol, Fortunato, Maria Salome, Olga, Maribel, Derich Oswaldo, Yessica Pilar
