The Milagro de Dios group has eight members from the city of Chinandega, Nicaragua. They are well-organized, responsible, mutually supportive, and very dedicated to their businesses selling tortillas, vegetables, and operating general stores.
Martha Lorena (the fourth from the right in the photo), is 34, and considered a very hardworking, responsible entrepreneur with four school-aged children. She lives in the Seventh Street neighborhood, and sells her merchandise in the streets with her husband. Her dream is to grow her business and buy a vehicle so she doesn't have to sell on foot. She will use the loan to buy onions, garlic, tomatoes, headphones, chargers, ham, and detergent.
