Zenaida, age 36, lives with her partner who works in agriculture. Together, they have three children, ages 16, 13, and 8 years. She considers herself a hardworking and enterprising woman in agriculture. The type of business she has is cacao and barbasco. She has done this work for 16 years.

Her greatest challenge is to have diversified crops, such as cacao, coffee, pole beans, and other seasonal crops. Also, her great dream is to have diversified plantings of the zone in production. In addition to this business, her other source of income is working as a day laborer with her partner. With this, she manages to improve her income and to have a better quality of life with her family.

She will use the Kiva loan to maintain her agricultural plot of cacao and barbasco. She wants to continue offering quality products to her customers at a fair price.
