Faith's story

Faith (a 27-year-old mom of one) is a poor small-holder farmer who understands very well what she wants in life and is determined to get ahead and have a good life. Talking to her, it becomes obvious that she is a very hardworking and helpful woman. She does everything she can for the benefit of her family and their well-being.

Faith lives in a humble home in the town of Eldoret, along with her handsome husband and their lovely child. She has always striven to give them a decent life and a good education.

Faith has been farming for ten years now. She makes money selling her crop produce from her farm and dairy. Faith is seeking a loan to buy farm inputs to help improve her crop farming. With the loan, she plans to buy good quality seeds and fertilizer which will help increase soil fertility and productivity on her farm.

Increased productivity will allow Faith to improve her quality of life and living standard. Through training from Juhudi Kilimo, she has learned about the habit of saving and she plans to use the increased income to improve her farming.
