A loan helped a minority woman owed business purchase business inventory and rent for unique concept food truck.

Vida's story

In 2008, I made my first batch of gourmet hot sauces. Having never had a palate for anything spicy, that was an amazing feat for me. It was divinely ordered that I do it, so I did, and 75 products later, I am now using them to flavor the food that I serve on my food truck. I have always loved to cook, and always dreamed of having my restaurant.

In 2019, while working as a Chef, I decided it was time that I go about turning my dream into reality. Then Covid hit, and I got the chance to work on a food truck, seeing that my place of employment shut down. I worked hard, learned the way a food truck operates, and mastered everything from learning how to drive one to run shifts by myself. I lived it and knew it was for me. I love cooking, and when I do something, I make sure I do it with love. I finally saved enough, and a year and a half later, I started my own unique concept food truck,

Gone Loco Spicy Food Truck. Everything is made with my sauces, so everything is Spicy!! I love introducing people to my food and seeing their eyes light up as the spice and flavor hit their taste buds and soul. I believe I was created to create, and I love creating food to feed my community. The years I spent creating gourmet sauces prepared me for this new venture.
