Abiyemeje Cb Group's story

Colette is 35 years old and married, with four children between the ages of five and 13 years old. Her husband is a farmer, and for the past 10 years she has been selling foodstuffs.

Colette is the leader of the group named Abiyemeje CB which means “committed people” in English. Group members sell different items and own a variety of stores.

Colette will use her loan to buy more plantains to sell within her community. With the profits from her sales, she will pay school fees for her children and put away some savings. She is thankful for your support.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all the group members but was able to photograph Colette, the group representative.
