A loan helped a member to buy clothing, 150 chickens, concentrated feed, and vitamins.

Las Flores Group's story

Roxana Patricia, age 36, lives with her husband and her two children, ages 15 and 10 years, who are the economic dependents of both adults.

Roxana works in business. She has a small business selling used clothing and broiler chickens. It is work that she does very well and it permits her to generate income to help with household responsibilities.

But she wishes to improve her inventory for the Christmas season, and so she requests a loan to buy clothing, 150 chickens, concentrated feed, and vitamins. With this investment, she hopes to improve her business, have more product availability for her customers, and thus to increase her sales. Her dream is to keep her business active and thriving.

Roxana, Xiomara, Maria, Aurelia, and Raul comprise the solidarity group "Las Flores". They are responsible people with the common goal of getting their families ahead.
