Zamuka Icyizere Group's story

Deo is a 55-year-old father of six children ages 15 to 32. His wife is a businesswoman and for the past year he has owned a hardware shop.

He is the leader of Zamuka Icyizere Group, which in English means “trustworthy." Group members own a variety of businesses.

Deo will use his loan to buy more cement, paint, nails and plywood to sell in his hardware store and meet customer demand in his community. With the profits from his sales, he hopes to construct rental houses.
