A loan helped a member to increase her capital for dairy production.

219 Colqueamaya Group's story

The 219 Colqueamaya communal bank, as part of the Centro Focal Patacamaya, is made up of eight members and is led by officers, of whom Zulema is the president.

The loan they will get will benefit small microentrepreneurs, of whom Zulema is one. She currently has a milk production business. She states that she learned this business from her family twelve years ago.

The loan she will get now will be to increase capital. After production, she will sell it in her sales space. This type of work allows her to generate resources to support her family financially since she is single. Her aspirations are to own a house in the city of La Paz, to have children, and to have a car.

Note: Three people are in the photo due to the COVID-19 health emergency. It is for this reason that a photo was not taken of the whole bank, to prevent the gathering of people.

In this group: Roxana, Zulema, Nelly, Virginia, Wilma, Sandro, Fanny, Pedro
