Flowers By Alexes is a modern florist with an original feel located in NW, WDC. We will provide a daily fresh flower and plant stand to the Petworth Community. Individuals will be able to pick the flowers from the stand and have bouquets made immediately. We also provide weekly educational sessions via social media on various flowers and fresh plants. We will highlight a small business weekly and will allow them to do a pop-up on Saturdays which will be our community day. We will provide floral arrangements for events, corporate business, funerals, holidays. Online services and delivery will be provided. I wanted to continue on the legacy of my father who had been a florist in Washington DC for over 40+ years. I grew up in a florist as a child and learned how to run the business successfully.
What is the purpose of this loan?
I am applying for this loan to purchase refrigerators to store the fresh flowers and bouquets in, merchandise, inventory (flowers, vases, wires, ribbons, boxes, etc.) and supplies, to pay towards marketing such as launching my website and branding materials (business cards, customized floral boxes, ribbons, and uniforms and sign). The loan will also assist with payroll for a part-time employee. I would like to have the capital to pay for my overhead cost, utilities, and emergency cost that might occur. The business will be impacted positively because it will assist the business to run effectively, and be personalized with the community. By bearing this risk, lenders protect the partner and its borrowers from catastrophic currency devaluations and contribute to the sustainability of their operations.

"Yes" means the Lending Partner will cover any currency loss. Lenders will not bear losses due to currency fluctuation
