A loan helped to buy produce and stock while she waits for better prices.


Esther's story

Esther is a 29-year-old woman, married with four children, two of which attend school. She is also a refugee.

She does farming where she grows maize, simsim, and groundnuts. Besides farming she also buys and sells produce which is the main source of income for supporting her family.

She is challenged always with limited income to buy produce which is why she is applying for the loan from VisionFund to buy produce and stock then sell when the prices are high to realize better profits to provide better basic needs for her family.
