A loan helped to finance her higher education expenses toward a bachelor's degree.

Ketevani's story

Ketevani is a 21-year-old motivated student at the State University. She's from Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, and has only her parents, who can't afford to pay Ketevani's higher education fees.

She's struggling to pay her fourth year tuition, so she started to seek funding from local creditors. She has a great will to enhance her knowledge in International Relations and studies hard to become certified.

After requesting a loan from local creditors, Ketevani can receive the needed amount thanks to a joint initiative of Kiva and Credo Bank's Educational Program that gives poor people the chance to get a higher education.

She's very confident about her potential. After graduation from the university, Ketevani believes she'll have a lot of opportunities to compete and will find a good job in her profession.
