Rosina's story

Rosina is a 24-year-old entrepreneur who lives with her husband and child in the Bunkpurugu district in Ghana. She runs a business of retailing cereals in bulk. She is requesting a Kiva loan to purchase more cereal and meet customer demands. She plans to use the profit she earns to support her family's daily needs. Rosina will repay the 'social interest' on her loan by volunteering 2.5 hours per week as a CAMFED Transition Guide, supporting other young women who are just entering the CAMFED Association by delivering an orientation course with weekly sessions on topics including health, financial literacy, and career guidance.
